When are you open?
- We are open Tuesday
through Friday from 10 am until 4 pm and on Saturday from 1-4 pm.

Is there an admission fee?

Yes, there is an
admission fee. Adults-$3.00; Children-$1.00; and Members are FREE.
What does admission include?
-
Admission
fees include entrance to the art galleries, temporary exhibits and permanent
exhibits, including the authentic Homesteader’s cabin, the wall of livestock
brands and the old-time, pioneer Sidney recreated in the museum's lower
level.
Note: There is no admission fee to shop in our Sales Gallery.
Is there more than one art exhibit at a time?

Yes. Depending on what is on our calendar, there may be one exhibit in
the center gallery and one or more smaller exhibits on the outer walls of
the gallery.

What are some of the exhibits?

Artist of the Month; Miniature and Judged Art from around the globe;
Quilts; local and national Photographic Exhibits; rotating exhibits from the
permanent art and artifact collections of the MonDak Heritage Center.
What facilities do you have to offer?

The MDHC houses the Homesteader Museum, Lillian Anderson Jensen History
Library, Genealogy Library, Charlotte Rees Gabisch Art Library, a permanent art
collection, large regional photo
archive, a dinosaur and fossil collection, and public meeting rooms.

What other activities do you have?

Ethnic Christmas Celebration; School Tours; Museum Mondays; Heritage Day
Parade; National Exhibits; Cultural presentations of art, poetry, literature
and history from several sources including the Montana Endowment for the
Humanities.
Do you offer any other special services?

Yes. Other services include access to genealogy research materials, handicap
accessibility, art classes for adults and children, narrated tours, copies
of historical photographs and information on our permanent collections.
Where does the MonDak Heritage Center get all its displays?

Donations, loans from local patrons and artists, and booked traveling
shows.

The MonDak Historical & Art Society has nonprofit status, and your
gifts either of money and/or property are tax deductible. Please see your
accountant or tax advisor for information.
Can I help?

Anyone can contribute gifts of any size which supports the work of the
MonDak Heritage Center. You can also provide support in several other ways: by becoming a
member, honoring or memorializing someone with a cash gift, contribute towards
the purchase of equipment or materials, donate time as a volunteer, or
contribute to the MonDak Heritage Center's Endowment Fund.
