In July 2005, the Prairie Development Center was purchased/gifted from Williston Basin Interstate Pipeline Company, a subsidiary of Montana Dakota Utilities, for $1000. Their former 14,000 square foot office building had sat empty two years prior to Community GATE. The Prairie Development Center houses some of Community GATE's projects as well as paying tenants.
